Man arrested after gardaí seize cocaine worth €3.5m

Cocaine worth an estimated street value of €3.5m has been seized during a search in Swords, Co Dublin, today.
The operation was carried out by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
A 33-year-old man was arrested and is being questioned at Swords Garda Station.
Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll, who heads Organised and Serious Crime, said: “Participation by a number of sections within An Garda Síochána with assistance provided by Customs Revenue Service in this operation, has resulted in another significant seizure of a substance believed to be cocaine, which prevents further damage being inflicted within our communities.”
