The family of murdered Frenchwoman Sophie Toscan du Plantier have pledged to “continue to fight” for justice after the High Court ruled that Ian Bailey cannot be extradited to France over her unsolved killing.
On Monday, Justice Paul Burns rejected – in a 61-page judgment – a third attempt to extradite the Englishman to stand trial for Sophie’s murder, a crime the French courts have found him guilty of in his absence. Bailey has consistently denied any involvement in the murder.
