Cash, watches and designer clothes seized during CAB searches

The Criminal Assets Bureau has carried out searches targeting a suspected organised crime group in the Dublin and Wicklow areas.
Two houses and three professional premises were searched during today’s operation.
Gardaí say that following the searches €248,149 was frozen in various bank accounts.
€11,800 in cash and $4,000 in Australian Dollars was also seized.

A men’s and a ladies Rolex Watch were recovered, as well as designer clothes and a BMW 318 car.
Gardaí say the operation “is a significant development in CAB targeting Organised Crime Gangs involved in committing rural crimes across the country”.
