Man arrested after 3kg of cannabis seized at Rosslare Europort

One man has been arrested after more than 3kg of cannabis with an estimated street value of €63,000 was seized at Rosslare Europort.
The drugs were found in a UK registered van on a ferry arrived from Fishguard in Wales on Friday.
The search, which was carried out with the assistance of Revenue’s mobile x-ray scanner and Detector Dog Flynn, led to the discovery of the drugs concealed in a side panel behind the driver’s seat.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and was detained at Wexford Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
