Woman arrested in missing couple murder inquiry

A woman has been arrested as part of the investigation into the disappearance and murder of a couple almost six years ago. 

William Maughan and Anastasija Varslavane, who was originally from Latvia, were reported missing from Laytown, Co Meath in April, 2015. 

A woman in her 30s was arrested this morning and is being held at Ashbourne Garda Station. 

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
