A businessman who was seated at the same table as Supreme Court judge Seamus Woulfe at the Goflgate dinner has been hit with a tax bill of close to €600,000 by the Revenue Commissioners.
John Sweeney developed the Station House Hotel complex in Clifden, Co Galway, where the infamous Oireachtas Golf Society dinner took place last August.
The hotel is now owned and run by members of his family.
