Gardai feared the master of disguise gang boss would try showing up incognito like he did for his brother’s funeral

These are the scenes inside the funeral party that was held to celebrate the life of Tina Moore – the sister of notorious mob boss Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch.

Tina, who was in her 50s, was well-known and much loved in the north Dublin community described as a “lady” by the Portland Square community.

She died on May 21 as a result of a brain hemorrhage and was buried at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Sean McDermott Street on Thursday.

Family and friends gathered at a house in the Ballybough area to celebrate her life – but her notorious criminal brother Gerry was nowhere to be found.

Videos seen by Dublin Live showed mourners singing, dancing and drinking in a white marquee with big speakers in the corner at a house near Campbell’s Row on North Circular Road opposite The Hideout pub.

Photos also show pals holding up a picture of Tina with one saying: “Tina, I can’t believe we’ll never see you again”.

Dozens of pink and white balloons were tied to fences around the house with Tina’s name and picture pinned on a big placard near the door.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, a candle-lit vigil was held for Tina with the word ‘Mum’ and a love heart and crucifix displayed on the ground using the tealights.

Gardai were on high alert in case the missing Monk – on the run from Interpol – would return back to Dublin for her funeral.

Her 58-year-old gangster brother is being hunted after a European Arrest Warrant was issued for him in relation to the Regency Hotel attack in 2016.

It’s now the gang boss’ third sibling to die in the five years since the fatal gun attack that kicked off one of gangland’s most brutal feuds and led to him going into hiding.

His taxi driver brother Eddie, who had no connection to crime, was shot dead in a revenge hit in February 2016 just days after the attack on the Regency Hotel – The Monk infamously attended the funeral incognito.

His brother John then died following a fall at his home in July 2019.

Two relatives who surprisingly were at her funeral though were other top Kinahan targets – father and son duo Patsy and Patrick Hutch.

Patsy was seen carrying the coffin of his sister Tina into the church along with her close family and friends.Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch flees Europe with €30m cash and clutch of forged passportsGerry Hutch pal and boxing legend ‘Big Joe’ Egan says gardai should ‘leave him alone and let him live his life’

However, Patsy did not stay long to pay his respects and was witnessed getting into the back of a car after the ceremony was over.

His son Patrick, The Monk’s nephew, was feeling braver, ignoring the ongoing threat on his life to mingle openly with family and friends at the front doors of the church.

It was the first time Patrick had been seen in public since he walked free from the Special Criminal Court in Dublin in February 2019 – when his trial for the Regency Hotel murder of David Byrne dramatically collapsed.

Recently released Ross Hutch, who has also previously been warned of threats to his life, was also at the church, alongside cousin Jonathan Hutch – who survived an attempt on his life in Majorca in August 2016.

Gardai formed a discreet ring of steel around the service on Thursday, as the body of Ms Hutch Moore was brought to Glasnevin Cemetery.

Her master of disguise brother could literally be anywhere in the world.

Hutch has connections across Eastern Europe and detectives believe he is using his huge cash reserves to stay one step ahead of the law and of the Kinahan gunmen looking to kill him.

A source told Dublin Live: “Hutch could well have bribed his way around the place – he has access to plenty of cash.
