One viewer said: ‘Has there ever been anyone to enjoy giving bad news more than George Lee.
‘Not to pile on, but if he could sound a little less exhilarated sharing his impending doom. That would be nice.’
Another wrote: ‘Have just seen the grim reaper aka George Lee on RTE news, smiling as he tells us about a possible 3rd wave, telling us how bad things will get, ffs George cheer up!
One more frustrated viewer added: ‘George Lee back with the f**king doom and gloom again. Jesus Christ he’d wreck your head.’
Give him a break, lads. He’s only doing his job!
