This photo is a small bale of imported German origin peat briquettes on sale all over Ireland. The Greens put 2000 Irish peat workers out of employment in the Midlands. Why are the Germans allowed to produce peat products and we are not ? We are now importing German peat moss and peat briquettes while our peat workers are idle and we are now supporting the German economy while our own
workers are forced out of work. Green policies do not make sense.
