Teen boy rushed to hospital after serious attack in Waterford city

A TEENAGE boy was rushed to hospital following an attack in Waterford city last night.
The assault happened at around 7.25pm in the Barker Street area of Waterford city.
The teenager was taken to University Hospital Waterford.
His condition has been described by gardai as “stable”.
No arrests have been made yet in relation to the incident.
Gardai said that investigations are ongoing
A spokesman said: “Gardaí are investigating an assault on a male youth in his teens that occurred at approximately 7:25pm on Saturday, 2nd July, 2022, in the Barker Street area of Waterford city.
“The male in his teens was taken to University Hospital Waterford where his condition is currently described as stable.
