IAN Bailey has started selling T-shirts with an image of himself on them for €20 each.
The self-confessed chief suspect in the murder of French film producer Sophie Toscan du Plantier is flogging the clothing on his Facebook page and is telling people they can also get their hands on them if they contact him directly.

He has revealed that he’s had plenty of interest in the items, saying: “I have entered the fashion industry with the T-shirts. It’s a stylised image of myself and the logo ‘Is Feider Linn’, which of course means ‘Yes We Can’.
“And yes, there’s been plenty of interest in them.
“People can buy them through my Facebook site, by post or through electronic contact.”
Bailey, who still lives in Schull, West Cork – where Sophie was murdered at her holiday cottage in December, 1996 – is now making a living as a poet in the region, selling poetry books and performing readings.
Last week, the Garda Cold Case team announced a full review of the high profile murder. Bailey was interviewed twice in connection to it but was never charged.
But was jailed for 25 years in absentia by a French court for the slaying.
He welcomed the review and vowed to help the gardai in whatever he can.
He told the Irish Sun: “I am pleased with this announcement, obviously.”
His lawyer Frank Buttimer also reiterated that his client welcomed the development.
He added: “He has repeatedly asked for this and wrote personally to the Garda Commissioner requesting that it be carried out.
“We also believe the family of the late Ms Du Plantier will be relieved and pleased at this decision.
“Mr Bailey wishes the review team every success in its work.
“He sincerely hopes it will achieve its objective which must be to identify and bring to justice the person responsible for this heinous crime.”
