‘You’re a sick old man’: Prince Andrew heckled as he walks in procession behind the Queen’s coffin

13th September 2022

Prince Andrew joined his brother King Charles for a historic occasion honouring the Queen’s life and her connection to Scotland on Monday.

The Prince, who has been barred from wearing his military uniform, wore a black suit for the sombre procession but was permitted to wear medals from his time in the Royal Navy.

Princess Anne and the Queen’s youngest son, Prince Edward, joined Andrew and Charles on foot in full military garb.

The disgraced Duke of York, who stepped back from his royal duties amid outrage at his relationship with paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, followed the hearse carrying the Queen’s casket as it slowly moved down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.

As the procession took place shouts from the crowd could be heard clearly.

‘Andrew, you’re a sick old man,’ someone in the dense crowd of people shouted.

Footage posted on social media shows outraged mourners pushing the protester into the hands of the police, who tackled him to the ground and dragged him away from the metal barriers.

‘I’ve done nothing wrong’ the protester can be heard shouting as Royal Guards overpower the noise with ‘God save the King’ in unison.

This comes after Prince Harry released a statement speaking for the first time about The Queen. Harry gave us a glimpse of what his granny was really like.

In his written message, he spoke about her ‘infectious smile,’ a woman who was ‘globally admired and respected.’ He reminisced on precious memories, including a time when he was a boy and greeted her in his military uniform.

He also recalled the time the Queen met his ‘darling wife’ Meghan for the first time and the hugs she would give her grandchildren. She was a woman with ‘everlasting grace.’

Not only was she loving but he defined her as a ‘guiding compass,’ who brought wisdom to all; be it her family or her people.
