Reports are surfacing of a Russian gunpowder factory in the mountainous region of Perm going up in smoke this morning. The factory forms a vital cog in Vladimir Putin’s war machine as it produces shells 24 hours a day. Staff work in three shifts to ensure the operation of creating the weapons does not stall. This is not the first time there has been an issue at the plant. In 2018, three people were killed in an explosion at the site due to a suspected dust explosion. According to Front News International, a gas cylinder exploded, killing one person immediately while two others died later in the hospital. Details of the latest incident are yet to emerge.
