China sees Russia as a gas station and as a drunkenly piloted icebreaking ship that causes chaos & weakness in the free world that China is happy to exploit at little risk. Openly aiding Putin’s war on Ukraine would be a huge and perilous step.

Not many people know this, but Germany’s trade with #Poland is 3 times the size of its trade with #Russia. According to the latest number by @OstAusschuss trade with Russia is -45%, with Poland it’s +12%, which makes Poland the 5th biggest market in the world for Germany
