THE GAA star arrested over an alleged €1million cancer scam is also suspected of selling dodgy cars.
The Irish Sun can reveal Gardai believe he sold a car whose miles were clocked to a woman known to him.

On that occasion, he’s understood to have persuaded the woman to sell her jeep.
When the woman agreed, he sold the vehicle before agreeing to replace it with another model.
But when the driver left the new car in for a repair she established that the miles had been clocked.

The woman didn’t make a complaint and later left the south east of the country.
It’s just one of the many examples of the former players alleged behaviour Gardai have uncovered as they continue to investigate him.
One source said: “People are still coming forward with information and Gardai are gathering a lot of evidence.
“Numerous allegations have been made against him and investigators have been told about other alleged scams he may have been involved in.
“Gardai are also uncovering intelligence about him and this will all be examined to see if any other crimes have been committed.”
At present, the GAA star is keeping a low profile as the investigation into his alleged scam continues.
The sports legend is accused of taking money from people to pay for treatment after claiming he had cancer.
But those who handed over cash now claim they don’t believe he was ever ill.
The people who have handed over cash include sports personalities, wealthy business people and those working in finance.
QUIZZED BY COPS
The GAA star was released from Garda custody last week after he was questioned on allegations of deception.
Gardai are also continuing to examine his medical and financial records.
It is understood they are struggling to find evidence that he was actually suffering from cancer.
They have been in contact with the authorities in America to check out claims he had treatment at three different hospitals there.
The focus is on one hospital in Seattle that he regularly namechecked.
MEDICAL HISTORY CHECK
But detectives are also investigating his medical history here at home to see if he was ever diagnosed with the disease.
One man who told this newspaper that he gave him a five figure donation said: “This individual is really struggling to prove that he ever had cancer.
“The Gardai have told us they haven’t come across any evidence yet. Cancer is cancer and so far there is no evidence that he ever had it.
“He used the disease as a way of raising money for over a decade. He used to be a good friend of mine but not any more.
“You don’t travel and play golf if you are ill and fighting for your life.
“He was told to prove his innocence by showing the evidence that he had cancer but he hasn’t to date.
