The bullshit here is that these children were not “evacuated from the conflict zone”, because conditions there don’t allow for that to happen. They were kidnapped from parts of Ukraine temporarily controlled by russia. Then sent to “re-education” (brainwashing) camps.

I concur for numerous reasons. Crimea is different from the rest of Ukraine, Russia “legitimized” its occupation over the 9 years, treating it like another oblast of Russia. They cannot afford to lose one of their own regions, the consequences for Rus would be too great
