CAB seize flash car, Rolex watches and more than €12,000 during five searches in Kerry

THE Criminal Assets Bureau seized a flash Mercedes car, two Rolex watches and more than €12,000 in cash during five searches in Co Kerry this morning.

CAB, who were assisted by armed Gardai, were targeting an Organised Crime Group involved ” in the sale and supply of controlled drugs” in Listowel.

They also seized a caravan which is believed to have been stolen, suspected cocaine with a street value €2,000 and electronic devices and documents.

A Garda spokesman said: “The Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) with the assistance of local Garda and the Garda Southern Region Armed Support Unit (ASU) conducted a search operation in County Kerry this morning, Friday, 2nd October 2020.

“The search operation was conducted targeting the assets and activities of an Organised Criminal Group based in Listowel, Co. Kerry, involved in the sale and supply of controlled drugs.
