Four arrests over drug seizures in Ashtown, Clondalkin

Three men have been arrested after the seizure of 8kg of cannabis with an estimated street value of €160,000 in Dublin.

The drugs were found when members of the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau intercepted two vehicles and searched an address in Ashtown yesterday.

The men – aged 29, 45 and 58 – are being detained at Blanchardstown and Ronanstown garda stations.

Meanwhile, a woman in her 30s has been arrested after €89,000 worth of drugs was seized in Clondalkin in Dublin.

During a search of a residence in the Woodford area yesterday at around 7.20pm, €71,000 worth of ecstasy and €18,000 of cocaine were found.

A woman was arrested at the scene and is being held at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
