Man arrested after firearms and drugs seized in Dublin

A man has been arrested following the seizure of firearms and drugs in Dublin. 

The man, who is in his late 40s, was arrested after gardaí searched a house in the Poppintree area of Ballymun.

During the search, they discovered two firearms and cocaine and cannabis worth €100,000.

He is currently being held at Ballymun Garda Station.

Gardaí say the investigation is ongoing.
