Woman held after 3kgs of crystal meth seized at Dublin Airport

A woman has been arrested after crystal methamphetamine worth around €180,000 was seized at Dublin Airport yesterday.

The arrest was made in connection with a Revenue operation during which 3kg of the drug was seized.

The woman, who is in her 20s, is being questioned at Ballymun Garda Station.

Arrest after drugs worth €96k seized in Rathgar

A man has been arrested after almost €100,000 of cannabis was seized in Dublin this morning. 

Around 4.8kg of suspected cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €96,000 was seized during the search of a house in Rathgar at around 11.20am.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is being held at Terenure Garda Station. 

The search was part of a joint intelligence-led operation by gardaí attached to the Terenure Drugs Unit along with the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue Customs Officers.
