€140,000 cocaine seizure in Kildare, two men arrested

Two men have been arrested and €140,000 worth of cocaine seized following the search of a property in Naas, Co Kildare.

Also a number of items believed to be the proceeds of crime were seized, including jet skis, a speed boat, a Rolex watch.

The two men, one in his 30s and the other in his 20s, were arrested at the scene during yesterday’s garda operation, which included assistance from Revenue and Customs officers.

The search operation was launched as part of an investigation into the sale of drugs in the Tallaght area of Dublin.

Both men are due to appear before Naas District Court today.
