It noted that authorities back in Ireland are trying to have members of the Kinahans returned to the country.
Kinahan set up boxing management company MTK Global, but lawyers from MTK told the programme that he was no longer part of the business, although he did offer personal advice to some of the stable’s fighters.

Speaking on the special, McGuigan said: ‘There is no doubt that there is an intimidation effect, there is no question about that.
‘If we were to believe what we believe, this is a very dangerous man.
‘Someone has got to look out for this sport. They really need to look at this situation very carefully, because it’s bloody dangerous.’https://platform.twitter.com/embed/index.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-0&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1356365460518932482&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fextra.ie%2F2021%2F02%2F02%2Fsport%2Fsport-extra%2Fbarry-mcguigan-daniel-kinahan&theme=light&widgetsVersion=ed20a2b%3A1601588405575&width=550px
McGuigan was praised by viewers for appearing on the show, as one person tweeted: ‘Bravo Barry McGuigan I really admire you taking a stand and having such bravery speaking out against MTK and the “dangerous situation”.’
Another said: ‘Fair play to Barry McGuigan for saying on camera what so many in boxing are afraid to say. ‘https://platform.twitter.com/embed/index.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-1&frame=false&hideCard=false&hideThread=false&id=1356361383747739652&lang=en&origin=https%3A%2F%2Fextra.ie%2F2021%2F02%2F02%2Fsport%2Fsport-extra%2Fbarry-mcguigan-daniel-kinahan&theme=light&widgetsVersion=ed20a2b%3A1601588405575&width=550px
A third wrote: ‘Fair play to @ClonesCyclone for having the balls to speak up. Money is the reason so many won’t. So much of back story not even in the #BBCPanorama doc either.
‘Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Anyone associated with #mtk now looks bad by association.’
Lawyers for Kinahan told the Panorama programme that he has no convictions or links to criminality or criminal gangs and that he has cut ties from MTK.
