The property, which was purchased for €250,000 in 2011 and later valued at over €1m, was stripped of most of its expensive fixtures and fittings before CAB took possession of it.
The house is advertised as a three-bedroom home with a garage containing a gym and spa room, and an outhouse in the enclosed back garden that was fitted out as a games room with a bar and a small WC.© Provided by Extra.ie Pic: YouTube

Byrne was named by CAB in high court submissions as being head of the Byrne organised crime group, which was linked to the Kinahan cartel and involved in the import and distribution of drugs and firearms in Ireland.
The property, described as Byrne’s ‘crown jewel’, was one of 47 assets worth a total of €2.7m confiscated under proceeds of crime legislation as part of Operation Lamp.© Provided by Extra.ie Pic: YouTube

Byrne’s brother David Byrne was killed in the Regency Hotel shooting of February 2016 as part of the escalating Hutch-Kinahan feud.
