International criminal stung as Gardai raid five premises across four counties seizing luxurious items

Five premises were targeted by the Criminal Assets Bureau this morning with a number of luxurious items seized across four counties in a massive sting on an internationally renowned criminal.
Three residential addresses, a mobile home and a business premises were searched across Dublin, Louth, Meath and Wexford on Tuesday as part of the operation on the member of the organised crime gang.
Among the suave items seized were cash of €19,000; a Rolex Watch; a number of Chanel and Louis Vuitton Handbags; a VW Passat vehicle; assorted designer goods and footwear as well as electronic devices and documentation.
This morning’s search operation is a significant development in an on-going process of crime investigation targeting assets, including property assets.

These were accumulated by an individual directly involved in an Organised Crime Group operating within this jurisdiction and internationally according to a Garda spokeswoman.

The search operation was conducted by Bureau Officers and supported by the Customs Dog Unit and investigations are ongoing.
