If they can do it in the five-star hotels in Dublin, why can’t we do it everywhere?

My local pub down home in Offaly was busy last night hosting ‘The Merrion Session’ in its newly redesigned beer garden.
Usually such gatherings on a Sunday night are reserved for bank holiday weekends – but after nearly 18 months of closure why not?
If they can do it in the five-star hotels in Dublin, why can’t people do it down in Ferbane and Moate and Thurles and wherever you are yourself?
Fred says Yes Yes Yes let’s build back communities throughout the country. Savings have never been higher for those of us who save, so let’s spend in our own country and help those who have suffered most (needless to say not the politicians, the public sector, the civil servants) but those in industries that were fleeced into near bankrupcy or obliteration in some cases. Altruism is the word of the moment. SARS in Korea was contained and a strong reason related to the altruism that one finds in the Korean people/culture. It goes beyond Selfishness to looking out to benefit self but also others.
