Petition please sign, if you have any reservations about how the French pursued the Case, gave a guilty verdict and a 25 year sentence to a man who was never questioned by the Gendarmes, who had no representation in France and that the Irish DPP said no evidence suffice to charge Ian Bailey but questioned the work or lack of it done by An Garda Siochana.
“Justice Delayed is Justice Denied”. People have judged Ian Bailey as Guilty even though the DPP said there was no case to answer. What is sinister is that the DPP (Crown Prosecution Service is the equivalent in England) were critical of An Gardai Siochana and how they conducted the Investigation. All Ian Bailey and those of us who have signed the petition want is for Commissioner Harris to make a decision and grant a “Cold Case” commitment to Justice. The Interviewer horrified by the “Absentia decision of the French”…Yes, they found Ian Bailey (No Jury, just three Judges) guilty and sentenced him to 25 years in prison. Interesting to note that Irish law (not French law) is related to British law, which is related to American law. Beyond Reasonable Doubt is key.
