It became quite a popular reaction to the pandemic for those now working from home to adopt or foster an animal, mostly dogs.
However, now as these people may be returning to the office they are faced with a predicament — hope they can bring the dog to work or face the fact they may have to give up their dog.© Provided by Extra.ie Now that offices are back open for many workers across the country, Claire Byrne Live addressed the debate around bringing dogs to the workplace. In a segment supported by Dog’s Trust, broadcaster Aonghus McAnally was on to discuss his stance on bringing a dog to the office, which he was very much against.
Despite his view, there were many at home who thought it would be a wonderful move by businesses to allow dogs in the office.
Some people even said they would seek a new job instead of giving up their pet.© Provided by Extra.ie In a segment supported by Dog’s Trust, broadcaster Aonghus McAnally was on to discuss his stance on bringing a dog to the office, which he was very much against. Another said: ‘Aonghus said dogs are unhygienic… I’ve worked with people who clearly haven’t showered in a week, give me a dog any day in work over a stinking sweaty human.’
