“Dirty Work”… “Moral Injury”. Working in Abattoirs; working in drone facilities or for that matter working screening for porn sites at Google or Facebook. Do we have an obligation to our fellow human workers to understand what is so hidden yet has a huge emotional cost to these “concealed” workers? Emotional intelligence and the experience of the COVID-19 pandemic should enable people to look beyond what is so often hidden and is so harmful to workers, the time is now for reform and redress. The article is about America but the culture of apps and delivery is global now.
