RTÉ could potentially be sued for civil liability by victims of convicted paedophile Kieran Creaven, according to the barrister and Labour Party spokesperson on children, Ivana Bacik.

Separately, a leading charity has called on the state broadcaster to launch an internal investigation to determine if Creaven used his position to commit crimes.
