Bullies instead of “Buddies”. Where is the education? What do we know about what makes a bully, some say it is feeling totally inadequate about themselves and therefore they inflict their anger and use bullying tactics on those they believe to be vulnerable. This case is so sad. Snapchat…what is said gets deleted immediately but as Eden’s sister points out the fact that it is deleted quickly does not take from the harm it causes the person about whom it seeks to inflict damage on. The parents changed Eden’s school; his new school proved a success but then it was the Pandemic and his ability to form new social connections were gone. There are many people so vulnerable because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The time is now to recognise that when life reaches its “new normal”, there will be many people affected by Post Pandemic Stress disorder; and as already said our medical teams will be victims to what veterans suffer in wars and that post traumatic stress disorder. Suicide … we can prevent it.
