Russian intellectuals and elites once spoke French and embraced French culture but the Oligarchs evidently opted for the UK as their haven for Oligarchal entitlement, facilitated by the British, the money was just too persuasive. How wealth can spiral in just 25 years? Putin and approximately 120 others are the beneficiaries post the break-up of the Soviet Union “USSR”. The UK, the global elites, now have their answer as PM Boris Johnson, Priti Patel and others have been snubbed and will not be invited to Russia to negotiate Peace for Ukraine, if at all possible.
