The media speculation that Channel crossings have stopped due to the Rwanda plan is nonsense. These are the first pictures in 12 days. Expect more.
Rwanda … UK’s version of Ellis Island, New York. Okay different centuries but surely Rwanda is not the answer for those who risk the Channel by paying traffickers to get them to their idealised vision of what the UK can do to improve their lives and the lives of their children.
