Carers, special needs assistants, helpers, cleaners, dustbin collectors, elder care, do we really understand how vital their contribution is and how it is the cog in the wheel that makes the world move forward. Sadly their lives can often mean minimum rights, low wages, long hours, and then there is what can only be called as “slavery”.
