Garda suspended and home raided over alleged links to drug gangs

A garda based in the east of the country has had his home raided by specialist detectives over his alleged links to drug gangs and has now been suspended from the force.

The officer had his home searched by gardaí from the anti-corruption unit (ACU) in recent weeks.
