
Bookkeeper accused of stealing over €600k from employer over seven years charged with 52 offences in Dublin cour

THIS is the bookkeeper who has been accused of stealing over €600,000 from her employer over a seven year period.
Karina Cully, from Finglas appeared at Dublin District Court on Monday after the Director of Public Prosecutions ruled she should be charged with a series of financial offences.


Ms Cully appeared in court after she was arrested by Gardai on June 22.
As part of the investigation into the alleged theft, she has been charged with 52 offences relating to her time at Lawlor Office Supplies in Drumcondra, Dublin.
Following the DPP’s ruling, she has been charged with 40 counts of theft and eight charges of money laundering.
The alleged offences took place between 2014 and 2021.
She has also been charged with three forgery offences and one count of deception from Permanent TSB bank.
The alleged deception charge relates to a mortgage application.
The investigation is being run by officers from the gardai’s DMR North Division.
During her court appearance on Monday, the court heard evidence of arrest, charge and caution.
