Shock as woman discovers body of missing Waterford man in rental car bo

A WOMAN aged in her 20s has discovered the body of man in the boot of a rental car in Co Kilkenny.
She reportedly made the shocking discovery on Monday after noticing a strange smell in the car.


According to the Irish Mirror, the woman rented the GoCar in order to travel to Mullinavat, Co Kilkenny.
After checking the car, the unsuspecting woman found the body in the boot.
The body was reportedly of a man aged in his 40s who had been missing since July 7.
Meanwhile the woman contacted the Gardai immediately who then stood down their search for a man who vanished from his home in Ferrybank, Co Waterford two weeks ago.
It’s believed that the deceased had rented the car right before the woman who found the body.
A Garda spokesperson told us: “There is no murder investigation into this matter.”
Meanwhile, a man, aged in his 20s, has died after a fatal road crash in Co Louth.
