Dublin has similar sculpture near Bus Station and Custom House to remind us of British Imperial Rule and poverty from the 1842 Famine when we lost 50% of our population. So many people emigrated to the UK and US. They left in dire poverty and starving. We must not forget Kolodomor – Man Made Famine that murdered 4 million Ukrainians and it was Stalin in charge.
