A gangster who survived at least six attempts on his life as part of a feud more than a decade ago has died in hospital after suffering a fatal cut to his arm.

Gardaí are not treating the death of John Paul Brennan (42) as suspicious after they were told he died in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, on Wednesday evening.
