10 men arrested and two in hospital after assault at St Stephen’s Green

Gardai attended the scene in the early hours of this morning

Two men were left in hospital and 10 were arrested following an assault and public order incident at St Stephen’s Green north overnight.

Gardai attended the scene in the early hours of this morning and arrested 10 men who were taken to different garda stations in Dublin city centre. Two of these men are currently detained at Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Two men were brought to St James’ Hospital for treatment following the incident. Their injuries are described as non-life threatening.A garda spokesman told Dublin Live that an investigation into the incident is ongoing
