Seen from at least a dozen different phone angles, the video of youngsters ramming a stolen car into a garda vehicle was shocking as dozens of thrilled, delighted onlookers egged the driver on.

What followed in its aftermath was probably less shocking. In among the pledges to crack down on anti-social behaviour in the locality were many mentions of the ‘good’ people in Cherry Orchard.
