It’s Tuesday afternoon, and Jules Thomas is sitting in the Dylan Hotel, Dublin, after taking the first steps to sue Netflix for its portrayal of her in a documentary about the 1996 murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier.
Almost 26 years have passed since she was first arrested, along with her former partner Ian Bailey, and questioned at Bandon garda station.
