The wife of Paul Kelly, the disgraced late founder of Console, has obtained a High Court order pausing civil proceedings taken against her by the liquidator of the suicide bereavement charity.

Patricia Kelly (61) sought the order on the grounds that the civil proceedings could prejudice a separate criminal trial she is due to face.
