Looking at the Russian newspapers this morning, it’s amazing – kinda – that there’s almost nothing about #Prigozhin‘s mutiny. A week on, and the Kremlin is definitely trying to bury it, even if behind the scenes there are inquests, squabbles over poaching bits of his empire, etc

I read about horrible things for a living but this is one of the most revolting things I read in a long while. It would have been easier to understand it if these people were driven by ideology or nationalism, but this is a pure mix of evil and cynicism.
We’ve known since the beginning of war that limiting arms deliveries to Ukraine costs many Ukrainian lives, as Zaluzhny makes clear. Western countries have failed to deliver enough and failed to seriously ramp up production. Time to get serious.
