‘Don’t use phone code as your bank app code’ gardai warn, as accounts robbed using stolen handsets

Anti-fraud gardai are advising people to make sure their smartphone access code is different to their online banking codes, after cunning criminals were found to have watched people while they open their phone, memorised the code, stolen the phone, and then accessed their bank accounts.
