Two gardai were hospitalised after rushing in to save a woman from the blazing house in Clondalkin, Dublin, at 1.30am on Friday.

The cops climbed up a ladder and rescued the victim from an upstairs room while three other innocent occupants of the house on Buirg an Ri Walk escaped unhurt.
It’s understood that pals of cartel thug Peadar Keating targeted the innocent family who had links to rival thug James ‘Nellie’ Walsh.
The officers were treated in hospital for smoke inhalation and later discharged.
The innocent woman, who is in her 50s, was also receiving treatment in Tallaght University Hospital on Friday. Her injuries were described as non-life threatening.
The Irish Sun has learned that the attack was in response to a video underworld thug Walsh had posted.
In it, he threatened to kill Keating, 42, who is currently serving an 11-year prison sentence in Portlaoise Prison for directing the activities of a criminal gang in a plot to murder Hutch associate James ‘Mago’ Gately in 2017.
A source said: “Keating’s pals didn’t hang about after Walsh’s threat and targeted completely innocent relatives to show they mean business. Everyone in the house is lucky to be alive.”
The home was boarded up on Friday afternoon.
