The Late Late Show will finally return tonight with new host Patrick Kielty.

The Co Down native will be taking over the world’s longest running chat show with his first live episode tonight. Kielty, 52, is the fourth regular host in the run of iconic chat show, following in the footsteps of Gay Byrne, Pat Kenny and Ryan Tubridy.

He has remained tight-lipped about the guests for tonight’s show but has said he is “really chuffed” with the line-up. Meanwhile, this morning RTE confirmed that Permanent TSB will be the new broadcast sponsor for the next two seasons.
