Man appears in court in connection with Monkstown aggravated burglary

A man appeared in court on Friday charged in connection with an aggravated burglary in south Dublin last month.
Michael Royal, 47, who has an address in Meath Place in Dublin 8, was present in Dun Laoghaire District Court for Friday morning’s hearing.
The Dublin man was pictured entering court in a blue jacket with his hood up.
He was charged with aggravated burglary that took place on August 21 in Monkstown.
An OAP was also injured during the incident.
Meanwhile, a man in his 20s who was arrested as part of the investigation was released without charge and a file was sent to the DPP.
While another man in his 40s remains in garda custody.
