They have since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions

Four teenage boys were arrested this week as part of the investigation into an incident earlier this month where a man was found with serious injuries in Clondalkin.

The incident happened on September 12 in the Cherrywood Villas area and the man, aged in his 30’s, continues to receive treatment at Tallaght University Hospital.

Gardai arrested the four teenage boys on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th September in relation to this investigation. They were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station They have since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions. A file will also be referred for consideration for admission to the Garda Youth Diversion Bureau.n in Dublin.
