Whistleblowers must be protected at all times but they must feel now a little Compromised. Sadly now we have reached the mountain peak where people are confused and don’t know who to trust. Watching Crimeline last night, what really startled me was the one photo of an alleged serial shoplifter and the Garda F. said this is the description. Today many replied to this blog stating that the suspect was definitely non national but now we cannot say this because it is deemed racist. We must ask the question when Crimecall ask people for help on their confidential line to solve crime … are the lines compromised and are the people who give information safe and anonymous because many feel the Opposite.
