Aid to Ukraine isn’t charity. It’s an investment in global stability, defending the world order against aggressive dictatorships, and helping a sworn ally fend off a genocidal invasion by a sworn enemy. Nor does it preclude spending more on the border, crime, or anything else.

Regular reminder that there is nothing the United States cannot do while sending aid to Ukraine that it could do without sending aid to Ukraine. The money and weapons sent don’t come out of a magic bucket of things you like or use to scare people.

The whole world could do this. Yet the “greens” never give France credit for doing the most to reduce fossil fuels of any industrialized country by replacing it with safe nuclear. Nuclear can be built anywhere. The uranium fuel has by far the most energy/kilo than any other fuel.
